Green Mandarin Dragonet (Synchiropus splendidus)

Psychedelic green, orange and blue patterning with a slow, hovering swim that makes it one of the most watchable fish in the hobby. Needs a mature reef of 50 gallons or more with a large live copepod population, or a specimen already trained onto frozen and prepared foods. Peaceful and reef safe, reaching about 3 inches. Care level: expert, despite the beginner appeal of its looks.
