Blue Hippo Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus)

The royal blue surgeonfish with a black palette marking and bright yellow tail. Active, personable and one of the most recognisable reef fish in the hobby. Grows to 10 inches or more and is a strong swimmer, so plan on a 125 gallon or larger tank with plenty of rockwork to dart into. Reef safe. Diet: algae sheets plus meaty frozen foods. Care level: moderate.
