Christmas Wrasse (Halichoeres claudia)

Also sold as the Biocellate or Ornamented Wrasse, this green-and-red striped Pacific species is one of the hardiest wrasses in the hobby. Constantly on the move, it hunts pest snails, bristleworms and small crustaceans, so keep it out of shrimp tanks. Deep sand bed and a covered tank are essential. Minimum 55 gallons.
